Who is responsible for the use of your personal data?
Jikx (JIKX) offers high-quality clothing in its webshop. For this purpose, we collect your personal data. JIKX is responsible for the processing of your personal data in accordance with the Data Protection Act.

What personal details do JIKX collect and for what purpose?
In order to deliver the ordered clothing to you we need to collect and register certain personal details, including your email address. These details are collected and used purely in order to allow us to perform our obligations under the contract. JIKX also registers your bank account number in case that is needed in order to refund any amounts paid. In addition, JIKX may make use of your email address to send email messages if you have consented to this. Our newsletters keep you informed of our expanding collection and offers.

No distribution to third parties
The personal details that you have given to JIKX will not be passed on to others unless necessary in order for us to perform our obligations under the contract. In certain circumstances JIKX uses third party (IT) services, for example for operational or technical purposes such as hosting our servers. These IT companies automatically record certain details, such as your URL, IP-address, browser type and language, and the date and time of your visit to JIKX’s webshop and website.

Links to other websites
The JIKX website may have links to other websites and other websites can also include links to the JIKX website. JIKX has no control over the use of your details by or through these websites and bears no liability for this. It is therefore advisable to read the privacy and cookie policies on these websites as well.

JIKX has adopted state of the art appropriate technical and organisational measures in order to prevent unauthorised access to, modification, disclosure or loss of, your personal data. In addition, the JIKX wesbite is also protected against misuse.

Inspection & correction, amendment and deletion of personal data
JIKX registers the personal data it obtains with the greatest of care. Despite this, the processing of data, technical issues and other circumstances can result in an error in the data or in the data being incomplete. JIKX accepts no liability whatsoever for the consequences of such errors or incomplete data. Under the Data Protection Act you have the right to access, correct (or have corrected) or delete (or have deleted) the personal data processed by JIKX at all times. If you wish to do so, or if you have any other queries regarding your privacy, you can write to JIKX at Regentesselaan 37, 1405 EK, Bussum or send an email to info@jikx.nl. In addition, you can use this email address at any time to inform JIKX if you no longer wish to receive emails from us. In principle, JIKX keeps your data as long as is necessary for the purposes mentioned in this Privacy & Cookie Statement but not longer than two years. After that time your personal data may remain stored for archival purposes, so that should you wish to order clothes via our website in the future you will not have to repeat the entire registration process.

Cookies and browsing habits
The JIKX website uses so-called cookies. Cookies are small text files that are stored on your computer during your visit to the website. They cannot harm your computer. These cookies not only help in making the website more user-friendly, they also preserve the contents of your shopping basket. In addition, in conjunction with your IP address, cookies can give insight into your browsing habits whilst on the website. This information is not used in order to create individual targeted offers but is collated with information from other users in order for us to improve the general content and usability of the website. JIKX also uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Inc. This allows use of the website to be analysed in order to understand how certain actions tend to be followed up, how many people visit the site and what pages of the site are attracting interest.
